We wanted to learn to lead climb, and get some outdoor climbs in. Matt King has a talent for teaching, a great personality, and a genuine focus on safety. We learned so much in only a 1/2 day trip. And we had so much fun, we really wished we had planned for a longer day. Matt planned a great location, fun approach and left us with so many pointers to practice with going forward. SO well worth the time and cost! Loved it!

I had not attempted rock climbing for over 4 decades, but decided to challenge myself this year. The motto of Rope Wranglers inspired me, "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" I surprised myself by ascending Crown Rock 3 times! Matt immediately put me at ease and was so encouraging when fear seeped in. He is an excellent teacher, and was patient with my learning of the technical (figure 8 knot, belaying) aspects. The best part of the experience, has been the days that have followed. I look at every boulder, rock, mountain with new eyes. I am hooked (no pun intended)! I am already eyeing the Second Flatiron as a future climb.

This was such a great experience! Matt is so friendly and his directions were very clear for finding the spot. I enjoyed learning a better way to tie my figure 8 knot and appreciate how kind and informative he was. Highly recommend and I can't wait to come back to CO and learn about anchors!

If you're searching for the best climbing guide in Boulder, I had a fantastic experience with Rope Wranglers. I booked them for a day of rock climbing in Boulder, and the entire process was extremely professional. Communication before the trip was clear, they helped choose routes that matched our experience level, and the guide had incredible knowledge of the Boulder climbing areas and local rock. Safety and instruction were top-notch. Instead of just guiding us up routes, they took the time to explain technique, gear placement, and movement on the rock. It felt like both a great adventure and a real climbing skills lesson. If you're visiting Boulder and want a professional climbing guide, whether for Flatirons climbing, beginner rock climbing, or improving your technique, I strongly recommend Rope Wranglers. They run a very well organized operation and made our day climbing in Boulder one of the highlights of the trip.
